I retired in June 2014 after working in Austin, Texas colleges. I started RVing in November 2014. I love to visit national and state parks, historic sites, museums, the beach, the mountains. I will be volunteering in Texas state parks soon. I have two sons and a grand-daughter, hope to have grandchildren one of these days.
Fast typist, good people skills, still know some French and Spanish from college and travelling in Europe, good at pulling weeds and watering lawns. I'm technologically challenged. :-) I've been trying to load pictures of the RV and me but the size is too large. I haven't figured out how to change that yet but I don't think my rig or I would embarras you with the neighbors.
My favorite boondocking site so far has been at a BML site in southern Colorado. I have done boondocking at RV rallies, even went to a Boondocking rally to learn how to boondock. I soon found out that I needed work done on my generator and that my batteries had low cells. So I did some REAL boonocking. The generator would stay on long enough to make coffee and then it was done for the day. Now all is working. Most of my boondocking has been at Walmarts and Flying J's. The price is right but the scenery not so much.
I grew up in Orlando, Florida and moved to Austin, TX in 1981. I am currently a full-time RVer.
