Kathy and I retired in 2014, then sold our house in January 2016 and hit the road. We started with a truck camper and pulled a 16' trailer with our motorcycle, 3 wheeled tandem recumbent bicycle, and all the stuff that wouldn't fit in the camper. We sold the truck camper and motorcycle in the fall of 2016, and purchased a 5th wheel. We are traveling the country full time, and enjoying bicycling, hiking, kayaking, and photography. We are quiet and don't smoke or drink.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Mechanic, carpentry, good with computers

Paul and Kathy's Pets

No, but like dogs & cats

Favorite Boondocking Locations

We like national forest campgrounds and dispersed camping for the quiet and scenery. We have found that small town and county parks are often a good place to camp free or very cheaply. We stay at Walmarts or other free locations when traveling from location to location to save money.

Paul and Kathy's Hometown

We spent the last 30+ years near Indianapolis, Indiana. We have wintered in southern AL and southern TX.

Sweet trio

We were happy to host this sweet trio (woofless Toby is the ideal companion dawg!) for one night and wish they could have stayed longer as we enjoyed nice chats – Kim enjoyed sharing Kathy’s artistic interests and family - but understand they needed to press on as the weather approaches autumn. Good communicators, considerate and no trouble at all.

Interesting friendly couple

We enjoyed being neighbors and wouldn't mind if they came back.
