Retiring from my architecture / construction business, ready to travel mostly in western states. I've owned a recreational vehicle most of my adult life. In 1970 I bought a cute little tear drop trailer and was hooked. Quickly out growing the tear drop, I bought a 4 door international truck cab over class "C" RV in 1971. In 1995 I bought a class "B" Dodge Transvan.
Our plan is to boondocking mostly on Bureau of Land management land and other low cost or free properties. We have our eyes on Alabama Hills and Lonely Pine,CA, Hackle Road, Solomon, AZ, and Cienega Italian Camp, Las Cienagas, AZ.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I currently live in San Pedro, CA, but at the beginning of September 2016 will be relocating to Albuquerque, New Mexico where my girlfriend lives. With Albuquerque as our home base, we plan to do serious boondocking in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah.
In early 2015 I bought a 30'-0" 1993 Fleetwood Coronado, and spent the last year and a half upgrading it for boondocking by installing a solar system, back-up camera package, tow package, Maxx Air fans, Nature's Head toilet, flat screen TV'S etc.
