I retired in December 2015 after 31 years as a Medical Laboratory Technologist working in the Blood Bank of a large community teaching hospital. Prior to this career, I owned a new & used bookstore immediately after graduating from college. During my lifetime, I have had many, varied camping experiences including frequent cross-country trips and at least a dozen glorious, New England fall adventures! We camped in a variety of modes such as the back of a station wagon, tent camping, VW campers & finally "graduated" to a Roadtrek. I have a 31 year old blind daughter who will be accompanying me. She is a fiddler! We look forward to meeting new people along the way!
I am an excellent Blood Banker...but I don't think this is a sharable skill! I am good with computers; I currently run two genealogy websites, one high school Alumni site & manage two Facebook groups. I am the current President of my neighborhood association.
My daughter is an expert at bird call identification and can identify over 400 bird calls by sound! She also identifies frogs & toads. She has played old-time & folk fiddle music for the last 17 years.
We have two indoor Ragdoll cats, but they do not travel with us.
We are new to Boondocking! We live in Georgia & are planning to travel cross-country in 2018.
