I am a 66-year young retired computer teacher who has enjoyed RVing for about 30 years. I have had tag alongs, 5th wheels, and motor homes. I recently downsized to the smaller Class B, which is a great way to travel without the hassle of the length or towing. I live in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, so there are lots of day trips available. I don't venture out as far by myself, but will, if the opportunity arises. I sometimes travel with a friend, but mostly will be passing through by myself. I wanted to try the Boondockers system, but, of course, want to feel safe and secure about pulling into strangers' property. I am encouraged about the positive feedback I have seen and am looking forward to meeting new RV friends through this system. Often, I just need a safe place to get some rest and this sounds ideal. I do not have pets at the time. I will see how this works. Friends just recently helped me complete a short RV pad for my Class B, so I could offer that as a host, if this works out. I enjoy music and machine embroidery.
I appreciate the craftiness and talents of other people and love to discover what other RVers are doing.

Skills & Expertise to Share

I enjoy music and machine embroidery. I just recently recovered the valances in a friends motorhome. Quite a project. I enjoy sewing and decorating when I have time and am starting to add a little more color in my little RV-- my Glamper Project. It, of course, is on hold often when I get the itch to move the roadrunner.
I appreciate the craftiness and talents of other people and love to discover what other RVers are doing.
