Smokey Camping is all about camping, i post all things that i can find to help me and all the other people about camping. To some campers seem to be a unexplained animal of confusion (rubber roof, gas fridges, electric brakes, internet on the road) and so much more so i hope anything i post is of interest.
Happy camping to all.
I have been camping for over 30 years with my wife and some animals, as most have grow up with camping starting out with a tent moving up to a pop-up, and then to a camper. We presantly own a 39ft Cedar Creek Silver back that when my wife retires i hope to travel around this great country and see all that it has to offer. As for a little more background i have i spent most of my carreer in repairing auto, light and heavy machines, and then moved into computers, and have a list of degrees and certs in both. So i like hands on when it comes to my campers, so what do your do folks??
One of the main reasons for joining your web site is to learn more about boondocking, as i have not done this as of yet, but i hope the time will come soon as i would love to be able to be camping in the south west.
We preasantly own a 39ft Cedar Creek Silver back it has 3 slides and love it. I wanted a larger camper that what we had [look above] was not looking for this big but my wife loved the interior lay out, and loved the room inside with all the family that travels with us. So this is what i hope travel around the country in. So keep an eye out fo us in the future.
