I am a truck driver and my wife is a school teacher. We are retired and this is our 5th year travelling in USA. We have previously travelled to Canada and Alaska, and also travelled mid USA over to Mt Rushmore and then back to Vancouver Island and then down the Oregon Coast to Los Angeles. We currently have our RV stored in Bakersfield. On arriving in USA in July 2016 we will head over towards the east coast, head up to the Great Lakes, Niagara falls, New York and then back down to Florida where we will store our RV before heading back to Australia at the end of November. We arrived this year (2018) on 19th April and have travelled from Florida up through Nashville, St Louis ; Kansas city and Denver. We have visited Glacier National Park and now heading towards the west coast.
We are long time motorhomers and have a 40ft converted coach in Australia. We have travelled extensively in Australia. Our home town is Bundaberg in Queensland, Australia. We enjoy travelling the outdoors and also meeting new friends on our travels.
My husband is a very good handy man with wood work and some mechanical skills. He can also drive semi trailers and earth moving equipment. I enjoy photography.
None as yet, we are new comers to boondocking.
Our home town is Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. We have lived here for 60 years. It is a sugar cane growing region. We have 3 sugar mills in our town area. Mon Repos beach (near Bundaberg)is also known for its loggerhead turtles.
We have a 2004 36ft Monaco Cayman. We also tow a VW Golf Our RV in Australia is a 40ft converted coach which we have converted ourselves.
My third guests from the land down under and just as great as the previous Aussies! So nice and easy to talk to about RVing and life in general. I hope I can make it to their part of the world one day and get away from it all. Safe travels you two.
A great couple had some great fireside chats. I hope I can get a chance to see their DIY bus to camper conversion they made in Australia sometime. I learned some things about Aus.
We thoroughly enjoyed having them stay with us and would be happy to have them return. Enjoyed them sharing their experiences at the end of the day.
Glad to be able to host evergreen and hear about their travels and county. They are welcome back anytime!
