My name is Luke, my wife is Cynthia and our three kids are Isla (10), Jenson (8) and Lincoln (6). We're from Brooklin, Ontario, Canada--a small town 40 minutes east of Toronto.
We sold our house and bought a trailer to see Canada and America. We've been on the road since September 2016. We downsized 98% by moving out of our house and into our travel trailer.
We're travelling to focus on investing deeply into our children's character, to explore with them and to more clearly hear God's voice.
Luke is a good photographer and is pretty good with photoshop. Cynthia is a good cook and loves to cook for people who love food.
We're new to boondocking, but our favourite places to travel through have been Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, North Carolina and Georgia.
We're from a small town named Brooklin in Ontario, Canada which is about 40 minutes east of Toronto.
We tow a 25 foot 2015 Heartland Trail Blazer with no slide-outs. We use a Dodge Ram 2500 to haul the trailer.
The little time we had to visit made us wish we had more time. The kids are very well behaved and respectful. They are certainly welcome back!
I wasn’t around unfortunately when the Lakerlight family came to visit. I did have a friend here at the time though and his comments were positive.
The site was left in great condition and their communication prior to, during and after their stay was excellent.
I would have them stay again if they’re ever back this way.
Makerlight emailed me on his way back home to Canada for a 2 or 3 night stay. They arrived a couple days late but stayed for 2 nights ... We were not able to visit very much, we were having terrible weather ( to cold for this time of year ) but Makerlight was a very nice guest as was his family.
We are hoping that they will come this way again ( when the sun is shining ) ...
They have all their stuff together and were no trouble at all.
Nice rig, nice family, they are welcome at out home anytime.

Makerlight could not have been a better guest. The kids were well behaved and not a bother at all. Mr. and Mrs. were friendly but at the same time we hardly felt their presence. They were very respectful and did not assume any permissions without asking first. I can recommend this family to any host.
These guys were wonderful guests. Lovely well behaved children. The Makerlights were very funny and easy to talk with about RVing. The made it here just in time for Mardi Gras and I believe they enjoyed at least one parade. Safe travels.
