My wife and I are sort of retired. I used to work in the IT field and still like to tinker with technology. My wife is an experienced classical musician and although she is retired she still finds time to accompany choirs and play the organ as well as other instruments.
I have lots of IT experience and can help out with most computer related challenges
We have 3 dogs (2 older rescue dogs and a young Havanese. We enjoy walking them around our beautiful town and taking them on trips our cat is more of a stay at home friend.
Our home base is the historic town of Annapolis Royal nova Scotia. The area around Annapolis Royal was one of the first permanent European settlements (1605) in what became Canada
Our current rig is a 2013 ERA 70x (DashERA) prior to this we've owned a class c and a 97 Roadtrek that we restored and used for camping around Nova Scotia
Had a great time as hosts with this fine Canadian couple. We had so much in common and thoroughly enjoyed their visit. Looking forward to visiting them when we travel to Canada.
We had a lovely stay with our hosts who are also musicians. We jammed to our hearts content! We fell in love with the town, attended the market the next morning and said goodbye. We hope to hook up again in Ft Meyers
We had a great stay with these generous folks in their lovely town. Canada Day was spent in the 'cradle of the nation'. Everything within walking distance. Could not have asked for a better location or more welcoming and intersting hosts. Thank you.
Wonderful stay. We stayed one night and were met by this very kind and friendly couple. They were able to suggest two great restaurants and encouraged us to visit the market Saturday morning which we did and it was lovely. They are located right in the heart of the town, within walking distance to most things. Knowledgeable about the area and RVing. Would have enjoyed a longer visit and more chats about their travels and experiences but we had to move on.
We had a lovely stay at this great site in a wonderful town. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful to us. We hope to be back!
Lovely town, lovely hosts ! We had a super nice time in Annapolis Royal. Graveyard tour, music at the Irish Pub, went by too quickly !
Despite asking on the same morning, Chris squeezed me in. There were already 2 other RVs there! Great hosts and joined me later in town, where I got invited to play my squeeze box with a local celtic music session.
we were lucky to stay with them for 2 nights they were very friendly and helpful. we had the opportunity to sit and chat. gave us lots of information to the local sights.enjoyed the time we had getting to know them. time is sometimes too short hopefully one day we will make it back.
Chryselwood and his wife were very helpful. They wait for us with light in the street. We arrived a little bit late...
They provide us wifi access and electricity plug.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful, made us feel at home. Lots of nearby attractions for history and nature buffs. We hope to return.
What fantastic hosts! They moved their RV so as to make space for two Boondockers. Couldn't ask for more welcoming hosts. Annapolis Royal is a great community too. We particularly enjoyed the Candlelight Graveyard History Tour that our hosts recommended. Thanks to our great hosts for helping make our visit so special!
We strongly recommand Chryselwood for boondocking. They are warmful, generous and interesting people, always ready to help you and give you good information about their place and their province. Thanks a lot Chryselwood for your enthusiastic reception!
