We are Rhapsody and Loxley, seasoned travelers and lovers of people, nature, and art.

We've been living in our 5th wheel, Dreamcatcher for over a year, but we just recently (June 1 2016) switched into traveling in it full time.

Rhapsody is originally from Maui Hawaii. Loxley is from Texas. We met while traveling abroad, and have been living in Texas for the last few years. We are starting a project/adventure based lifestyle for ourselves called the Story Connective. Please Check out our website www.storyconnective.org to learn more about us and our project.

We are in our very early 30's, and are thrilled to have found such a welcoming, open-minded, great natured RV community!

We believe that Happiness is the result of love coming out of you, and do our best to live Aloha:

Aloha means much more than hello, goodbye, and love. It's deeper meaning is the joyful (oha) sharing (alo) of life energy (ha) in the present (alo).

"Here's some simple advice: Always be yourself. Never take yourself too seriously. And beware of advice from experts, pigs, and members of parliament." —Kermit the Frog

Rhapsody has been on CouchSurfing for over 5 years. Here is what people have to say about her (and Loxley's references would be just as glowing if he had a profile):

"Rhapsody is an absolute sweetheart, we hit it off straight away!! She has a calming spirit about her which makes you feel completely comfortable. Good food, great conversation, fantastic experience!"

"Rhapsody is full of life. A very positive girl with a can-do attitude who is a lot of fun to be around. We've had many a good giggle session together, especially memorable was the time where we cycled in circles on Velib bikes on the only hill in Lyon because neither of us could read a map. Instead of getting annoyed at each other, we laughed hysterically and took a photo at the bottom (exactly where we started 40 mins prior). Good times, and hopefully many more to come!"

"It felt like having friends staying. Rhapsody is just such a warmhearted, positive and open-minded person.. I really enjoyed the conversations we had, the meals we shared (thanks so much for teaching me how to cook - what was it called? shoyu chicken?), the night dancing, the walks in the rain, the cosy video-night we had.. I'd love to meet you again!"

Skills & Expertise to Share

We love to meet people, swap stories, and share knowledge and wisdom. Rhapsody plays the ukulele, is a storyteller with a background in theater, and is fascinated by natural medicines (herbalism, folklore, essential oils). Loxley is a history buff & has many documentaries that he loves to share. We carry around light weight prosumer video & sound recording equipment. If you are interested, we would love to interview you during our visit, & record some of your stories, &bleave you with a copy of your stories that you can then pass on to friends & family as part of your legacy. We all have a story to tell.

We also love to cook Shoyu Chicken (or tofu) for people too... if they like try Hawaiian style food.

Rhapsody's Rig

33 ft 5th wheel. 2001. two slide outs. It's in great shape and works wonderfully. We re-painted/floored the inside, & it feels peaceful to spend time in. We love it.

Great People - Great Stories - Great Information

We enjoyed hosting these two free spirits! Learned a lot about their plans and vision for their immediate future (including a lesson in the use of vegetable oil fueling a diesel truck).

We would gladly welcome them to our driveway again.
