I'm a retired diesel mechanic, I lived on a boat (65' trawler) for 10 years out on the hook (no dock). I've had RV's of one type or another since the late '70's. I have two adult daughters, both great kids with successful careers, and I'm very proud of them both. I'm a scuba diver, fisherman, hunter, shooter, was raised in the country and enjoy the outdoors. I belong to the Elks and Moose lodges and have enjoyed staying at many of them in the western US.
I have 35 years experience as diesel / heavy equip mechanic / welder. Bought fixer-up houses and did all repairs floors / tile / roofs / sheetrock / electrical myself. I've done a lot of electrical, solar, inverter work on both boats and RV's. I know and understand generators, solar and inverter / battery needs in RV's. I also scuba dive if you happen to drive your RV down the boat dock! I'm also an NRA certified Range Officer should you need some help.
I have traveled in the western states mostly and I'm going to try to see all the lower 48 and Alaska. I like to boondock and travel the lesser roads and stay off the interstates.
I was born in Redwood city Ca and lived there until I was 10 yr old when we moved the Central Valley of Ca. Near Modesto, and lived in the Oakdale - Modesto area until I was in my 40's.
I have a 2007 Country Coach intrigue 530 with a tag axle and 4 slides and tow a 2016 Subaru Forester
