We are Roy and Rosalyn Chauvin, our mid 60s. We've been fulltiming for 6 years in our 39 foot Fleetwood Excursion. Dora is our RVs name and Boots is our toad's (truck) name. All of us put together make up Dora and the Explorers. Our blog is rosalynandroy.com. We are currently at home in Amite, Louisiana. We have no pets so it's just us!
We hope you will allow us to stay with you when we are in your area. We look forward to meeting you!
Roy is a certified computer technician.
We do not have any pets but love dogs and cats.
The only two places we've boondocked were at the Grand Canyon and the Tetons. We've boondocked at several Walmarts!!
Our home town is Amite, Louisiana. It's actually a new hometown to us. We moved there from Hammond, Louisiana where we lived 30 years after moving there from New Orleans, Louisiana when our children were little.
39 foot Class A Fleetwood Excursion - 2005. We have 3 slides.
Rosalyn and Roy stayed with us for a week here in the Desert Winds boondocks. They are very nice and a pleasure to host. We hardly knew they were here until Roy wanted to take the mower from Kent to help with the yard work.
We are looking forward to a return visit if they should happen to drive this way again.
Kent and Cindy
Roy & Rosalyn stayed with us for a few days while they were exploring New England.
They are a delight & we are so glad we got to meet them.
Definitely recommend them!!
Roy and Rosalyn stopped in for one night on their way up north. Only had a short time with them, but we made the most of it. Hopefully, they'll stop in on their way back down. Safe travels, guys.
