We are Shelia and Cindy, two retired women living full time in our RV.
Shelia hails from the south, Georgia/Alabama, and has lived in a dozen different States while also traveling to almost all 50 States as well as international travel. She is a USAF Veteran and a former: psychology professor, Executive Director for nonprofit focused on children's wellbeing, Harley biker, cable TV technician who climbed poles and a Jeeper. Most importantly, Shelia is a Mom of four adult children and 11 grandchildren.
Cindy hails from the Midwest, Missouri, and as a military "child brat", she lived in several States and Germany. She is a registered nurse with over 20 years as a hospice nurse in direct care and administration. She has cared for dying family members and many others who were comforted by her gentle nature. Cindy is eager now in retirement to get back to her fly fishing.
Shelia: does most all of our cooking and love using our cast iron cookware! Can do around home repairs.
Cindy: nursing and can do around home repairs.
Our favorite so far is Snow Bird Mesa near Overton, Nevada.
We boondocked in the parking lot of our RV service center in Las Vegas Nevada. We also boondocked at a friend's property who lives off the grid in Searchlight, Nevada. We recently Boondocked up on Mount Charleston just north Las Vegas.
Currently, we live in Las Vegas Nevada.
Our rig, named SYNERGY, is a blue and white, 1994 Holiday Rambler, Class A, 33ft. model Vacationer (appropriate for us as we are embarking upon perpetual vacationing). SYNERGY has no slide outs nor funky decorations. Our tow is a white, 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara.
We really enjoyed meeting Sheila and Cindy. They spent two nights with us and were just delightful. We had great conversation and good laughs. They were considerate, thoughtful, and appreciative guests. I would love to have them stay with us again. If they ask to stay with you, say YES!
