We began fulltiming in June 2016 as complete newbies. We enjoy meeting new people and welcome any RVing advice.
In 2015 we saw the Grand Design Momentum 376TH at an RV show in Southern California and knew we had found our future home. It is a giant of a fifth wheel and it is wonderful! If you are familiar with the movie, "The Princess Bride" you will recall that wonderful giant, Fezzik. Well, being big fans of the movie we just had to name our giant fifth wheel Fezzik. Our truck is Inigo and our Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail is named Vizzini. This completes our "Brute squad." My apologies to anyone reading this who is not familiar with the movie...we are not really brutes!
We are by nature extroverted introverts, so meeting new people a few at a time is very enjoyable for us but we are also perfectly happy keeping to ourselves if socializing is not on your agenda.
We are grateful that this group exists and that there are people who are generous enough to provide a place for boondockers like us to stay overnight.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Most of our skills are related to quality and environmental management which won't be too useful to other boondockers, but Cindi enjoys working with MS Excel, she's kind of a spreadsheet nut. If you need help getting a spreadsheet to do what you want it to, she's your gal!
We had a solar system installed with 1,000 watts of panels and a lithium battery. We have 2 inverters; the small one is on 24/7 and keeps our phones charged and Cindi's electric blanket running on cold nights. The other is a power hogging 3000 watt inverter for when we want to run our microwave or instant-pot. We are happy to share our hard-won knowledge about solar on the road.

HappilyRVafter's Pets

Yes. Pepper, a cute, quiet Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix who used to work at a hospital providing therapy for patients and Cally, our very senior Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Sedona, AZ, Moab, UT, Yuma, AZ, Joseph Utah

HappilyRVafter's Hometown

We both were born and raised in Southern California (Oceanside and Rancho Cucamonga) but now reside in Florida when not on the road which is...hardly ever! We have family in Arizona and Oregon so we like to visit there often.

Too Short come again soon

We enjoyed hosting this couple very much. We were away when they arrived but we were able to keep in touch so they could get onto our property. We had a good time talking and our animal Menagerie gives them two paws and two hoods up, they were very kind to our Inquisitive dogs and over friendly donkeys. Hope to see them again and wish them safe travels.
