We are Carol and Bob, campers for 40 years, starting with a tent and Coleman stove in the back of a Celica, now in our new highly-revised Class A Winnebago Vista. We've spent the first months of 2016 making this lovely RV suit our style and definition of comfort and are taking off for 4 months this summer.
We're healthy 70-somethings, like to be outdoors, take walks, ride bikes, cook and eat fresh food, read, hang out and relax. Residing near the ocean in California, we have mostly travelled between here and British Columbia, where Bob's family lives, so we know the coast pretty well. Our favorite "activity" is lack of activity while gazing at the scenery, perhaps with a good book in the lap.
Bob is a mostly-retired building contractor/finish carpenter (thus the fine renovations to the RV), and Carol has been a middle-school teacher, carpenter, jeweler, and registrar (and current receptionist) for the conference center where we have lived for 37 years. She's an awesome bread-maker.
Our lifestyle is pretty quiet, and we seldom start anything before noon, but we do like to socialize and make new friends.
Good breadmaker, pretty good cook. Awesome cabinet-maker/carpenter.
