I am soon to be in first phase of retirement (working 4 days instead of 5) while continuing my private practice as a therapist.

I am a Kansas boy, living in Albuquerque, NM for the last 15 years, arriving via Chicago and Portland, Oregon. I am close to fulfilling a decades long goal and dream of owning a "pop up truck camper" - I will pick up the camper in early July, 2016. It is intended for multiple purposes, the most obvious a way to get off the ground and still have ability to navigate remote places with "dispersed camping" taking priority. It is also to serve as an extremely wonderful piece of gear for my passion of nature photography (ralphlind.smugmug.com). No more 2hour, 3:00am wintertime mad dash drives to the Bosque del Apache to photograph birds! In another 3 years or so, I hope to work 3days a week and expand my camping/roving range accordingly. Then 2… The plan is workable primarily because I love the work I do.

As a psychotherapist, I see individuals, but emphasize marriage counseling. (RalphLindCounseling.com and crsr.us). I am in a wonderful and very happy marriage. I share my love of camping and outdoors with my wife, although I am hoping the camper will make her a more frequent participant in the search for wildlife and nature photography. A health crisis resulted in adjusting The Plan to not postpone doing the things I love now rather than later…

Skills & Expertise to Share

Photography Enthusiast and I travel equipped with coffee to share that I've roasted, and have a standing $5 bet that one will prefer it to Starbucks upon tasting!

As a therapist, please be reassured, no practice outside of my office! (that was a joke, just to be clear…)

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Yet to be determined. My range will be all of New Mexico, Southern Utah and Colorado, and Arizona.

I have ordered and am waiting to take delivery of an All Terrain Truck Camper, the Bobcat model. This is a small "pop up" truck camper that will sit on my '08 Frontier Nissan pickup.
