We bought our first RV about 3.5 years ago - a travel trailer to go with our Ford F250 truck. It is 22 feet and a perfect size for the two of us. Our first longer trip was to the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park for our 30th wedding anniversary. Recent trips have been up to the Oregon coast: Yachats, Bandon, and this summer to Astoria and Newport. We make about 7 trips a year - most are 3-4 days exploring California.
On the road, we enjoy hiking, shopping at local farmers markets, cooking tasty meals, finding live music, playing some golf (also disc golf), and finding funky fun things to do and interesting people with stories to tell wherever we are.
Sue is a writer and chief idea and party person. Jim is a practical, fix-it man with lots of RV knowledge.

Jim and Sue both grew up in Fremont, CA in the San Francisco Bay Area. When we got married in 1984, we bought our first house in Newark, which is a town right next to Fremont near the Dumbarton Bridge.
