My home town is located at 50km west of Quebec City, and 60km from Trois Rivieres , province of Quebec Canada. ST-Edouard is a very small village, 1600 habitants. We are at 5 km from St-Laurence River. It is a farmers area (mostly dairy).Near we have hiking paths" There is a butifull garden and manoir to visit and also historical church and flour mill. My place is in the forest(maple sugar production) very close to a small river, with fishing and bathing possibilities. Very quiet place
I own a class B Roadtrek 190 , Versatile, 2007. grey
Personnes très respectueuse et gentille, repassez quand vous voulez.
I was sorry my previous obligation prevented us from chatting more. The time we had together was very pleasant. I would welcome this guest back any time.
We had the pleasure of hosting Patricia and her sister and fur baby at our home. Very nice and respectful guests. We enjoyed their visit and wish them ‘bon retour dans la belle province!’
We enjoyed our time with Patricia, her sister, and Patricia’s dog for a brief visit. They are certainly welcome to come again. Anyone would find their company delightful.
Totally lovely experience hosting patricia and her sister, plus their perfect dog.
Charming , interesting, and well travelled duo. Only wish they could have stayed longer and exchanged most travel stories. Most welcome again any time.
Elizabeth was unable to be home but took the time to contact her brother to ask if he would settle us in. He was so friendly and accommodating…. Could not have been more welcoming. He gave us a tour of the family maple sugar business in a humorous and informative way. He then spent time going over our map and giving advice on our travels around Gaspesie.
Our dogs were thrilled to walk on the trails on the property as well.
We HIGHLY recommend this Boondockers welcome site!
Our friendly host gave us (and another boondocker staying there) an informative tour of their family run maple sugar bush and how they make it - complete with samples. Such a prtty spot to hike on their property, down to a river in the forest. Spring flowers and ferns were just stsrting to emerge.
We had a great time with Patricia and her brother, Irene. They were really good about conversing in English as my French is limited and Dale's is non existent. We were treated to fireworks at their annual community celebration and a tour through Irene's sugar shack.
A very special host at a great location. We look forward to visiting again soon. Peaceful and quiet as well as beautiful.
Patricia was so kind. She picked up brochures and told us about her favorite stops on our upcoming trip around the Gaspe. She directed us to the free RV dump in town, the best place to park to see Quebec City, took me on a morning walk through the sugar bush, and invited us to stop again on our return trip. Of course, most importantly, we had a safe and peaceful place to sleep. Patricia is what Boondockers Welcome is all about! Thank you!
