We are Jim and Angela, and traveling is something we both enjoy doing as often as possible. Jim is a traveling consultant who works in hospitals all over the country. Instead of doing the flights, hotels, rental cars, etc. any longer, we travel together now the kids are grown and gone and Angela is no longer teaching. We have six children, five of whom are married. At the moment, we have 8 grands with more on the way. We travel with our dog, Chewie, who is an almost 10-yr-old lab mix. He thinks everyone who comes around does so to pet him.
Before becoming full time in our 5th Wheel, we took vacations to travel all across the country (including a 16-day Route 66 trip) and have visited around 10 or 11 different countries. We enjoy meeting the people and living as much like a local as we can, shopping and eating with local small businesses, in all the places we are privileged to visit.
Jim: Meditech financial expert, amazingly good at Excel, accountant, form CFO, very creative, thinks outside the box, and loves history and NASCAR
Angela: Teacher at heart, loves to volunteer (especially working with animals), enjoys reading, history, and chatting with people
We've not yet boondocked, but this is expected to change when we make our way to Vermont this July.
We lived together in Clarksville, Tennessee, most of our married life, but we were in Hermitage (Metro-Nashville) when we began FT in the RV. Angela is a native Tennessean, and Jim grew up in Southern Illinois
2010 Sydney Edition Outback 5th Wheel by Keystone with a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with Cummins diesel as tow vehicle. The camper has 3 slides. Decals on the 2010 Outback were problematic, so we have recently removed the peeling front decals. We hope to get a custom decal to put on the front, be we had not done so as of April 2016. If we are moving between job sites, we will also have our Ford Fusion Hybrid with us.
