I am not doing too much in the way of boondocking now, but, my 4 year plan is to retire, sell everything and live full time in an RV. My friend and I will be travelling the country and definetely doing a lot of boondocking.
I have some computer skills, and have some fairly good camera skills.
I spent my childhood camping and fishing along the Owens river near Bishop, Big Pine, and the mountains. Back then there wasn't camping reservations, or any hookups. We just found a spot along the river, or a good place to put the trailer, or tent, and spent the week. I don't know if it was called boondocking back then, but, that's what we did.
Right now we just have a 2003 coleman tent trailer that we pull behind a Ford Escape. It pulls so smoothly behind the car, I sometimes forget it is behind me.
