Looking forward to meeting fellow travelers and hearing their stories, making new friends!
Decent mechanical and computer skills, good cooks if you appreciate an organic plant-based diet.
We're newbies, so haven't been yet. But our dream boondocking location would be at the seashore, or near a quiet mountain lake. Or 2 blocks over from a huge organic farmer's market!
1997 Rialta, 20.75'. Looks more like a class B, is a small Class C in disguise. No slide-outs, and Riglet is new to us, so no striking decor at the moment. We're more about solar panels than custom paint jobs anyway, but applaud those who manage both. We can be self-contained (but don't have a gennie), but we do appreciate electric and water hookups.
Communication with "Friendly Hosts" was flawless. The hosts greeted me upon my arrival and helped me set up for the night. The walk in the park close to their home was just what I needed after a long day of driving and getting stuck in a traffic jam on Interstate 90. The hosts showed me their organic garden and all the things they are cultivating. I got to taste some of the fare. Quiet neighborhood. I slept well and left at 6 am as quietly as I could, not to disturb anyone in the neighborhood.
I am new to RVing. My first night in a new camper. She is a friend that you feel you have known forever. I couldn't back into the spot so her husband did it for me. They helped me get settled and gave directions to the grocery stores and other places that I was interested in. I would enjoy more time with them.
I had the most pleasant time with Friendly Hosts, they sure live up to their name! The spot was great, I will forever miss walking out my door and having a plethora of delicious raspberries at my disposal! It was such a cute and quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and a beautiful park just a short walk down the street.
I was grateful to really get to know my hosts and enjoyed time spent with them immensely! They are such sweet and kind folks and I am happy to call them friends now :) miss you guys!
I did not stay here as my plans had to be canceled. I just wanted to let others know that Friendly Hosts responded to my message right away and seemed to be very helpful. Thank you.
Stayed with "Friendly Hosts" for an overnight while traveling south in my Roadtrek 190 Popular. Quiet neighborhood, easy level parking, and very friendly hosts. Arrived during heavy rain, was greated by Sam with an umbrella to share....had a brief chat on the back porch....Convenient location, 24 hr Walmart & gas...on the way to I-90....Highly recommended.....Thanks.
For me, it was my first time boondocking and my first real trip in my new (old) motorhome. I arrived at this home and was greeted by a lovely couple who were most helpful. I was having problems getting my cell to work in the US (I am from Canada) and they made calls and contacted techy people to get me online. Their location didn't have good reception but I eventually got through. They took me for a walk with my dog to a lovely park and my dog loved that. I felt right at home and very comfortable. Thank you !
Stayed with "Friendly Hosts" for an overnight while traveling west in our Roadtrek 190P. Quiet neighborhood, easy level parking, and very friendly hosts. We had a pleasant chat and nice walk through a nearby park. Convenient location for those traveling on I-90 or Rt 20. Highly recommend! Thanks.
