We call ourselves the #wanderingbrooks and we are looking to teach our children about the world through traveling. We started in Mesa, AZ and we plan to bounce between family and friends, federal parks and now boondocking to see all that we want to see!! We drive a Damon Daybreak. It's 35 ft plus our 6 bikes are attached to the back, so we need about 40 feet. We have 2 slideouts, no pets and we are looking to learn from other experienced RVers as we go. Our kids are having a lot of birthdays soon, but they will mostly be 12, 10, 7 and 4 on this trip.

Ideally a place where the kids can get out and stretch their legs.
Mesa, AZ- It's east of Phoenix.

We so enjoyed meeting the family and by the time they left they felt like part of our family. The weather became quite miserable one day so we spent the day together playing board games and getting to know each other. Our son took the family out on the boat playing for a day and the kids had a great time. I can't say enough nice things about the parents who have taken on this daunting task of being on the road for a year with 4 children. They will never forget the journey, we only wish we had had the courage to do such a journey in our younger years with our own children. They are a blessing to host on our property and we hope they come by this way again. Happy Trails!
This family stayed with us for 2 nights and were wonderful guests. The kids are polite and well behaved and the parents are a joy to know. We are grateful they made us part of their RV adventure.

Enjoyed hosting these boondockers. The kids were well behaved and a pleasure to have around. Their visit made a cloudy, chilly weekend a lot brighter.
What a great family. They all work so hard at making their new adventure work. Easy boondockers, fun to talk to. Cash is a little fire ball and so much fun to talk to!!!! I hope they pass this way again!
