Mary and Chuck have just sold their farm, pet boarding business, and retired from a career in the IT industry.
We want to do some exploring throughout Canada, starting with the eastern provinces. Several years will take us further and further west, until we hit Alaska and the Pacific Ocean.
We run, bike, hike, fish and do just about anything else outside. Our farming experience has made us very self-reliant, and prefer a more off the grid life.
Boondockers seems like a way better method of seeing new vistas, and not from a Walmart parking lot. Not that there's anything wrong with Walmarts.........
Farming and IT have made us pretty handy at plumbing, electrical, some construction skills. Trying to forget about the hi-tech stuff.
We'll have to see more places to have any favourites, but anywhere in West Virginia. There's some really cool places in UT and CO we've seen in the past. Really looking forward to Labrador and Northern Quebec.
Not really a town, but we're close to Orlando, WV.
