Kayla’s from Houma, LA. Chance is from all over Florida.
We enjoyed boondocking ourselves, traveling cross-country for six months in our travel camper. We stayed with many boondocker hosts and we always thought that once we got settled again we would become hosts as well.
We enjoy an active, professional lifestyle, but we live in Florida so we remain hopelessly laidback and unpretentious.
No prejudice, No bigotry. Earth is round.
Chance has a background in Journalism, and nonprofit work. He surfs when he can, but he has to sell real estate to keep our lifestyle the way we like it.
Kayla is pursuing a college degree in the life sciences. She's also a proper cook, artist and animal caretaker.
Our terrier-mixed pup, Boudreaux, is 22 lbs. and going on 6-years old. He keeps a close eye on things.
We also have a couple kittens and they're a lot of fun, too.

2010 25-foot, 30 amp travel camper, towed by a Chevy Silverado. Vehicle and camper are very well-maintained and pleasant looking. One very small slide out. We don't use generators. We use a powerful, portable solar panel to charge our batteries. We really only need a safe place to park and some friendly folks to enjoy company with.
chanceryan were a very nice young couple. They did their own thing and we barely knew they were round. They were pleasant and polite. We would recommend them to anyone to boondock with.
Chance and Kayla stayed with me for two nights. It was a delight to meet them and their dog Boudreaux. My dog Pepper, who does not always like other dogs, loved to play with Boudreaux.
We enjoyed each others company over Happy Hour and had great conversation. I would not hesitate to have them stay with me again. They were even thoughtful enough to pick up after Boudreaux when he went to the bathroom near the house. They left my RV site clean and neat. Thanks for being such considerate guests. Pleasant Journeys.
Our stay was very nice, the neighborhood is fine and safe. We only talked a little with Change a friendly young man. The next day they were not at home so we could not talked to them. We recommend this place for visiting st. Augustine.
Wish to extend our thanks for a quiet and safe stay with Chance and Kayla. Although the space is a bit tight Chance was there to help me back in my 22' Trailer. A power outlet was provided, but I would recommend you check the polarity if you don't have a tester/adapter. It is the perfect spot to take in a day at the beautiful St. Augustine historical city, or if you wanted to spend a day at the amazing Anastasia State Park. The two evening stay was quiet for sleeping after a long day of touring. Chance and Kayla are very personable and allow you your own privacy.
We had an awesome Boondockers experience with Chance and Kayla. We were offered water, electricity and even a dump on site. The location is quiet and ideal with the national park and long stretch of beach within walking distance across the road! We enjoyed a backyard fire, BBQ and hours of chat on our last night. Would recommend. Thanks
