We are picking up a new 27 ft. Coach House class b+ at the factory in Nokomis Fl. the morning of Feb. 25, 2019. We were hoping to spend several days with y'all to try out our new rig. We are supposed to be back at the factory in Nokomis for a 4 day rally starting March 1st. I've hosted 4 different campers in the last few months but this is my first attempt to use 'boondockers" myself . Thanks. Mike
The visit with Mikego was wonderful, totally enjoyed my time with them, the exchange of information, and story sharing. Come back again
Mikego etc were wonderful guest; lots of sitting o the deck visiting. Looking forward to their return.
A super friendly couple with a sweet dog, we loved having them stay with us. They were very generous and fun to chat with, even gave our girls a few candy bars that had carried all the way from New Foundland. :-) Would happily host them again anytime!
Mikego and guest were enjoyable, chatty, fully of experiences to share of their journeys. We exchanged travel stories, life lessons, future travel plans. Would so love to have them visit again; and plan to visit them on my next trip in their direction.
Mikego and all were excellent guests. We communicated well before arrival, and they settled in well before dark.
What a fantastic rig!
We wish them well on their adventure to the west coast.
We highly reccomend Mikego, and welcome them back to Basecamp RCB anytime.
Our hosts were extremely hospital and gracious. They invited us to come back any time and I know we most definitely will be back to see them when we head back south again. It was a gorgeous area and the children had so much fun!
What a nice welcoming. Mikego met us on our arrival and set us up in a wonder spot under a covered area with amenities where he normal parks his rig. We had a nice conversation with him in our RV. Very peiceful at night. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to say a personal good bye in the morning on behalf of our mistake on the date of our departure. We hope he will come visit us in Canada so we can reciprocate back to him with open arms.
Thank you so much for everything.
We came to Mikego on very short notice but he graciously and generously hosted us.
Very personable and friendly with lots of ideas and wisdom to share. Fun to visit with and enjoyed hearing of his life around this family farm he's been on most of his life.
Speaking of the farm this site was very peaceful and quiet and Level. In the hundred's of places we've parked this was the first that required NO leveling. If you like peace and quiet, you'll fall in love with Mikego's Boondockers Welcome place.
We hope to return when the opportunity presents itself.
The host was very amicable upon our arrival and spent a bit of time talking with us after we arrived. I'm almost certain we'd have been visiting this morning if he hadn't had to go to an early doctor's appointment.
The More The Merrier could not have been any more generous and kind! We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful location. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We really hope that we have an opportunity to see them again so that we can share more travel tales. Thank you again....take care and safe travels to you.
Mike was an awesome host, very friendly and accommodating. What a beautiful location, with solid spot to park and cover over the camper. Best to get advice from Mike on routing in.
We loved meeting Mikego. He is friendly and generous. We stayed under a roof and had water and electric. We really appreciated the roof because of all the rain. It’s a great location to visit Montgomery and Tuskegee.
We really enjoyed our visit to The More The Merrier We were having a great conversation and getting a tour of all the shops, vehicles and ponds when a thunderstorm opened up on us.
We’re going to have to come back so we can continue our tour and getting to know our really interesting and friendly hosts
Had THE best time with Mike and family. Shelter to park under, electric and water hookups gratefully excepted. Mike has many miles of RVing experience and gladfully answered my many questions. He took time to show me apps he uses when planning his excursions. Enjoyed coffee and seeing downtown where we went for dinner. Thank you, Mike and family!
Everything about our stay was awesome. Beautiful property. Doggies loved the pond and the spacious farm. Peaceful area for jogging and walking.
Hosts were amazing! So friendly and hospitable. Supplied water and electricity. Had us over for coffee a couple of times. We exchanged rving tips and apps, recipes. Had many great conversations. Really down to earth people. We really enjoyed our time here and look forward to seeing them again! THANK YOU!
We stayed just overnight at Mikego's property. It was very open and easy to get to. This was our first experience boondocking and it was great.
Our stay with Mikego was really great. They went over and above to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We shared some local BBQ together and stories about the history of the area. Thankyou Mikego for giving us a chance to ride!
We had a super nice stay and enjoyed the hosts hospitality a lot. Lots of laughter and good discussions. In the morning, he took us to a breakfast place and gave us many helpful tips before we left.
We can only recommend this host and would come back at anytime if we happen to be in the area again.
We had a fantastic stay here, Mike is a super nice person. Upon arrival he greeted us and moved his motorhome out from under covered parking to allow us to park there. He showed us around his property. We talked and laughed about my rv misfortunes. Mike has a lot of knowledge about the area and drove us around the town of Wetumpka, showed us the damaged areas of town from a recent tornado( lost some history ), and took us to a bbq restaurant in town and had a great meal. The next morning he drove us to another place for breakfast. We truly enjoyed our stay with Mike and will definitely visit again. Thanks Mike!!!
We enjoyed our stay with Mike and Pat and were pleased with the recommendations they gave us about exploring the area. There were many parking options for our camper. We chose to park under a metal roof which came in handy during a very heavy rain storm during the night. The rain wasn't our only worry, as there were tornado warnings in the area too. When we heard the sirens going off, Mike came out and had us go into the house for safety precautions. Everything worked out fine and we enjoyed the extra conversation time we were able to have with Mike... a very enjoyable host!
Sent us to a property he had even though he wasn't home thanks a lot
We did not have the pleasure of meeting our host in person because he was busy with other commitments. We talked on the phone and he gave very good, explicit directions to the location. It was a perfect spot for us to come and go as we pleased so we could check out the area. Besides being so helpful and accommodating, Mike sounded like the kind of person that we would enjoy visiting with - Very friendly and interesting. Hopefully we’ll have another chance to catch up with him some day. Thanks, Mike!
This couple was so sweet! Allowing me to stay under a covered spot for two nights. Mike was also kind enough to help me with some problems with my rig. Fantastic hosts!
Mikego was there to show us the easy spot to get into. He made sure we had everything we needed while we were there and my kids had plenty of room to run around. We had a long conversations with the hosts and felt very welcomed. Would stay here again if in the area.
This was our first stay at a Boondockers Welcome site. Once our reservation was accepted, our host called and confirmed the stay and ensured we had the proper directions based on the size of our rig. We stayed at a flat, 3 acre piece of property off the highway. Directions were perfect! Once we were set up, our hosts (M and P) stopped by to chat and make sure we were settled.
That chat led to us going to dinner and taking a driving tour around the area. What an enjoyable first experience! We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. This was true southern hospitality that we hope leads to a lasting friendship. Perfect host!
We were made so very welcome by this very friendly couple and enjoyed our stay enormously, Hope to visit again some day. I believe anyone would have a great visit here,
Mike and family have much RVing experience and were patient, kind with great sense of humor answering all my questions. I was able to park where he usually keeps his RV under a shelter and was hooked to water and power. So appreciated his taking time to show me how he uses apps on computer to plan his trips when they are farther and longer. Hope to go back one day. Wonderful experience and found it difficult to leave! Thanks Mike!
Our Host was very gracious and understanding when we had to cancel our stay just prior to our arrival due to storm damage to our RV that had to be fixed. This delay in our travels meant we've had to travel farther distances than we like in order to make up for lost time. We do hope to be able to stay in the future with him.
