I started full time RVing about 2 years ago. Left a 65 acre farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. Beautiful place but no ocean.
I'm off to see the country one body of water at a time. I've got my kayak, my bike, my 2004 34' Winnebago Brave and not nearly enough places to boondock east of the Mississippi. Love the spots in the desert but can only stay there so long until I dry up with longing for the ocean. I'm pretty much of a loner, love to read, hike, kayak and just be in acres of the natural world. Want to kayak all the national wildlife refuges and get a little lost in as many national parks as I can. Love to email other frugal boondockers.
Hmmmm I'm a great reader. :-) I can kayak. Hmmmm real skills. I'm a pretty good Vegan cook. Great organic gardener sans garden now. I was an English teacher and editor so I guess those are skills. As for computer skills, I can change out my keyboard and type 90 wpm. LOL. I can see how useless I am by trying to do this.
I'll have to get back to you on this. Currently I'm waylaid in Florida with a family illness. Living in the RV but not moving as much as I like.
Loved Elkmont in the GSMNP - no hookups and if you are there at the right time, not too many people, but that's not boondocking they way I prefer it.
Winnona the Brave is my 34' Winnebago Brave 2004. Class A. 2 slide outs. License plate: RV Dream. She's a BABE!
