Hi, I'm Joe, my wife is Sharyl, and we have been campers most of our lives. We have tented, itsy-bitsy trailered, truck and 5th wheeled, small motor homed "down under" and once had a "little tin house" in Florida. We have just acquired a 25 foot mini C and will be enjoying our maiden voyage in it this August of 2021. We love making new friends. and sharing a lifetime of wonderful adventures. Wherever we travel, we will be respectful guests in your part of the world.
Joe is retired Canadian military, served mostly in Food Service. Lots of handyman skills, can't fix everything, but willing to give most things a try! Sharyl worked in health care and personal counselling. We have both been retired for over 20 years, so although we are both proud of the work we did, our emphasis now is on being healthy, happy retirees!
No pets at this time in our lives. We have happy tales of "happy tails"
We have travelled extensively in Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand where we enjoyed "freedom camping" in many places where a lovely stretch of beach happened to call our names! There we would meet other boondockers, many of whom are still our email pen-pals today. Although there are not as many spots where this is allowed today, we were blessed to have had the experience.
Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Moved here 7 years ago. Tourist town from mid June to mid September, after that, it reverts back to a lovely small town with a large senior population.
These good people popped by for a quick overnight. Such a lovely couple. Groovy folks I gotta say! Would have enjoyed a great conversation but we were all tired and in a bit of a rush. Maybe next time. Would welcome them back anytime. Hope you guys got home safe! Take care,
Mike & Jenn!

So happy we could be the first to host these adventurers as Boondockers welcome Members. Had a lovely visit with them and shared some great information about travel. Wishing them continued safe travel.
