I am 45 yrs old. Mother to one son who lives in CA with his wife & my new Grandaughter. They are the motivation for the begginging of my journey. I have camped my way from IL to CA; in determination to be closer to them. I want to be able to visit often & be a part of thier lives. I decided to explore this RVing option. I am greatful that I finally followed thru and began; what I hope to be a very comfortable, relaxed, & somewhat challenging journey! I am confident that in this world majority of people are still; honest, kind & helpful....because those are character traits I have to give. Ive never traveled before. But I love to camp!! I am so greatful I was able to up grade from tent camping local to RV camping where the wind blows; with many trips back to CA; to visit my beautiful Grandaughter!!
I am very interested in learning to make the lifestyle work for me & I am still kinda in vacation mode. But am exploring all options from host camping, swap meets, income generated with computer or any option that will work & also be enjoyable.
BLM AZ; Walmart. I am looking forward to exploring CA,NV,OR, & more of AZ.
I was born & raised in IL. I spent 17 yrs in Macomb IL. home of WIU, raising my son, & caring for family. My son moved his family to CA about 4 yrs ago & is my motivation for comming this way & encouragement from him to explore & enjoy what makes me happy & comfortable, with what I have to work with : ))
I am a proud owner of a 1977 BRAVE WINNEBAGO. It is 24' ft. With a modified toy hauler. : ) It is in Great shape and redone inside. She brought me 2,500 miles from IL to CA without any effort. Everthing works on it & is very dependable & very loyal to me!! : ) At this time she hasn't had a bath since IL & we spent a month in the dessert in AZ : )
We were fortunate to host this wonderful soul. She drove up from some stressful times in the Los Angeles area. She was in desperate need of some safe place to decompress. Normally we host a camper for a couple of days at the most. However we are flexible and Ladybug1971 spent about a week getting things back in order. We would welcome her back if she ever needs a place to stay.
