We are an early 60's age semi-retired couple with a large truck camper rig, looking to explore the US and Canada. With 3 solar panels, 3 deep marine batteries and two on-board propane tanks, electric hookups are not a requirement, but certainly are nice to have when available.
We are fairly new to this mode of travel, having only one long trip under our belts before Covid hit; now looking to start our travels. We are generally quiet, courteous folk who tend to shy away from parties and night-life. No judgements one way or the other, but both of us are Covid vaccinated as of April 2021.
Ken is relatively handy with tools as related to construction and home repair. His expertise when working was environmental hydrogeology. Claudia is quite handy with most things computer related and works for a major bio-tech as a cybersecurity specialist.
We have a 10+ year old Newfoundland dog who, as you would expect with this breed, is exceptionally calm and lazy. She is ALWAYS leashed and generally never out of our sight (dad is a bit anal about this). Proper dog etiquette when it comes to leashing, barking and clean-up are a priority with us.
Being newbies, we are wide open to possibilities.

What a wonderful couple! We thoroughly enjoyed their visit and conversation, even discovered karichards graduated from the same highschool! It is indeed a small world. We hope they will return in the near future and look forward to a visit to their neck of the woods. Wishing them well as they begin their hosting adventure.
We hosted Ken this summer when he was on his way westward. He is a relaxed good guy and his dog is exceptionally well mannered. I am pleased to give him a reference and plan on visiting his place in NH when we return from the Maritime's next summer.
Great guests. Sharing interesting travel info. And more. Wish we had more time to sit by the fire with them. Hope to have them again so we can share more stories.
Enjoyed hosting Karichards. Love meeting great people from all over the country, and Karichards is truly one of them! Happy Trails...
Karichards is a very personable and respectful guest. We were more than happy to accommodate again. When in the area, they know they have a place to stay.
We very much enjoyed having this guest stay with us! Highly recommend hosting him and loved meeting Kelly his dog! Very respectful and keeps you updated well!
The perfect guest experience with karichards: quiet, respectful, personable, and all around great guy. He even left us a Thank You card along with a $5 donation for power hookup and a bottle of his home state maple syrup!!! An unexpected surprise! We would gladly host karichards again anytime.
Very nice gentleman and nice puppy. We only had a short visit, and it was nice. We would welcome him back anytime.

We were privileged to host Karichards. It was a pleasure talking and getting to know him! We hope everything turns out good for his dog! Safe travels there and back home!
He was in/out the next morning. A man on a mission to get his dog to a vet hospital in California. He is welcome back and makes a minimal impact during his stay. Thanks for staying with us.
Karichards was a very respectful and great guest to host at our site. So glad we could help on their important journey out west. Welcome back anytime!
We truly enjoyed accommodating karichards. Very respectful of our home and property. Kept excellent communication before arriving. You wouldn't even know they had a dog - very well behaved. Karichards is more than welcome to return if ever in our area again. We wish them safe travels!
