We are a couple with 5 kids (4 still at home) My husband (Travis) works for a tech company and I (Chandelle) owns a coding center for kids and is a Massage therapist. We started traveling with our kids in a motorhome in 2014 and fell in love with that way of life. The kids only have 3 states left to get to before hitting all 50. We are home alot since I opened my business but travel as much as possible.
Travis is very tech savvy and Chandelle likes helping and encouraging new moms in their breastfeeding journey as well as is a Massage therapist.
We have 1 14 year old black lab mix. She used to enjoy traveling with us but recently if I don't allow her the co-pilot seat she is not impressed. Lol!
All along the Alaskan Highway! The most remote with best views ever.
We live in Box Elder, SD which is the town Ellsworth Air Force Base is at and a suburb of Rapid City. We are about 30 mins away from Mt. Rushmore.

Excellent location central to everything. Our host was fantastic and answered all of our questions and needs. Highly recommend and the B1 bomber take offs were truly enjoyed.
Nice neighborhood, great location and wonderful hosts. Thanks so much for the stay and for exchanging travel tips. :-)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Home of the B1s. Kind of sad we never saw (or heard) a B1. But what a wonderful family this is! And the location is great, near to Custer SP and Badlands NP.
My current RV is my bicycle… I’m cycling from Portland, ME to Cannon Beach, OR. When I came through to Skytab B-1’s the temperature was 107F… rather than sleeping in my tent they plugged in their RV, turned on the AC/fridge and let me sleep in there… along with a nice shower. Above and beyond the expectations of a BW host and so very much appreciated.
TY so very much!
Skytab was very gracious and friendly. We had a good conversation about rving and traveling. It was nice to see a B1 bomber take off and fly over from the nearby Air Force base. We would definitely stay here again.
This family is wonderfully friendly, with plenty of RV stories. I'd be pleased to stay here again, if they'll have me.
Host location is just minutes from I90 and Rapid City. Also they are within sight and sound of the air force base that is home to the B1 bomber and there's a great air museum just minutes away. Also close proximity to Mount Rushmore and Custer State park. We didn't get much time to talk but they seemed to be ready to take on the challenges of hosting boondockers. We were their 2nd quest and I'm sure they will have plenty of request. The area to park is next to their camper, level but narrow and up a small incline to get into it, backing skills are necessary. This is also only wide enough to fit 8' wide camper and have room to walk around. We were unable to extend our main slide out, but our camper is still able to get to everything with it in. Highly recommend this host but for smaller rigs without slides.
Skytab was an awesome host. They were very responsive and helpful. They were both so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our night at their place and will definitely keep it in mind for future stays if we are in the area.
