I started RV-ing late in life as a way to get to places that planes and trains and buses wouldn't take me. I like being in the middle of no where, and prefer the comfort and privacy of my little RV cocoon to any posh hotel room. After a long career that involved traveling the world according to everyone else's rules, the freedom of RV-ing is the perfect antidote. I travel alone, with just my cat for company. I like to drive; I like elevator music; and I like a new camp every night. So cross-country trips are my ideal passtime. I'm interested in lighthouse history, ghost towns, beaches with sea glass or moonstones, funky bars, mighty rivers, and crashing ocean waves. I write. I photograph. I read. I even occasionally cook something other than a frozen dinner. When not traveling I like renovating old houses, futzing around in my make-believe garden (outside pots), volunteering with various local NGOs. and walking the less popular (read that "less crowded") beaches.

MrsPincheon's Pets

Licorice is a black & white tuxedo cat with white go-go boots on her hind legs. Her odometer reading says more than 50,000 miles in the RV since I rescued her from the evil "dog catcher". She was only four weeks old when we started traveling, so naturally she thinks cats are supposed to be cross-country travelers. She's a total indoor feline and never leaves the motorhome while we roam. Her favorite passtimes are sleeping and singing along with Rod Stewart. She's very vocal and an excellent conversationalist. She has me well trained to ask Alexa to play Willie Nelson's On the Road Again while I'm breaking camp. That's her cue to hop on up to the over-cab bunk and hunker down for travel.

MrsPincheon's Hometown

I recently moved to a small northeast town within 20 minutes of the Atlantic Ocean. It's a walkable town with lots of old homes, a handful of good restaurants, an active live theater, and friendly people.

Wonderful Guest

Our guest was a delight to have as a Boondocker and we hope she will return in the future. She cared for and appreciated the property and left no trace of her visit.
