We are Tony and Tracey and we are traveling in our 2020 Ford Transit AWD self-converted travel van. We are both early corporate retirees and we are wanting to spend some time traveling the US while stopping to see friends and family along the way. We mainly spend the days doing outside doing activities and just come back to the van to sleep and eat (we are vegans and pretty much cook all of our own meals). Tony is an avid road bike enthusiast and Tracey is a gardener. We both enjoy hiking, too. We are super low key and promise to be respectful of your property, we just are looking for a legal place to park at night between our adventuring. Our van is <20 ft long and it has a composting toilet, propane stove, sink and 2 fans, but we do NOT have A/C or a generator. We have no children or pets, either. Thank-you for considering hosting us.
We both have mad spreadsheet skills from our corporate days (LOL). Tracey loves to cook and Tony is always open to talking about the tax code. Aren't we an exciting bunch????
We usually boondock in US Forest primitive campgrounds. Colorado, Nevada and Utah have some great spots.
Tony is from Toldeo, OH area and Tracey is from Cleveland, OH area. We currently live in Tucson, AZ.
2020 Ford Transit 250 AWD (Medium length at just under 20 feet and medium rooftop with height just under 9 feet). No bike racks, motorcycle racks or tow cars. No slide-outs. Small and simple.
Didn’t get a chance to say hi as they were busy. They came in late and site is away and private from the house. Great job of communicating with me on arrival time and status. Hope to meet them at a later date
Tristow are a delightful young couple who are considerate and respectful in every way. They are very independent and keen to impact their hosts as little as possible. So much so that we hardly knew we had guests.
We cannot recommend them highly enough and they are welcome back any time.
Very good guests, and had a nice visit together too. Welcome back anytime.
