We love to travel and spend time with our children, grandchildren, and great-grands. We've been here in Florida since 1974,
originally from Michigan. We have no pets at this time but are animal lovers at heart.
We hang out in Tennessee near Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, workcampers at Mountain Lake Ranch, Christian Retreat and Veterans campground.
We will be at FL. homestead Jan thru mid March for anyone looking for a place.
Class A, 1994 Fleetwood Bounder 32', no slide-outs. We can be self-contained.
Was very Hospitable, Even let me hook up to electric which was nice when need to cool off for a bit. Had some great ideas for things in the area we did the circle b bar reserve which was awesome to see wildlife. recommend a stay with Terry if ever in the area
We enjoyed our stay with Terry and Sharon. Very interesting and engaging couple who provided us with lots of information on area attractions and specialties that you don't see when looking at the touristy stuff. Great conversations about all kinds of topics.
Nice folks. Good info about local area and Florida in general. Had a splendid family of Barred Owls put on a show for us one afternoon. They also have much experience around the Tennessee side of Great Smoky Mountains NP and Michigan. Thanks Much, Terry & Sharon. & Vaya con Dios !
We stayed with Terry & Sharon for a couple of nights and appreciated their hospitality. Nice site, easy access and the information they shared was very appreciated. Would highly recommend this location.
Sharon and Terry met us on the road, gave us our choice of spots, hooked us up to power, and invtied us up to the porch for a visit once we were all set up. Very welcoming.
They recommended a nature preserve, biking trails, and a local museum which were all worth visiting.
We felt very welcome and enjoyed our visits, while also being given our privacy to tour and relax as we saw fit.
The roaming chicken family kept us entertained.
They meet us on the road to direct us in. A real nice location in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room and we are their biggest rig to date! They love to talk with you about shared interests, and know the area real well, but acknowledge your privacy. Neighborhood chickens roaming about are very pretty but do crow in the morning. Didn't bother us at all. Follow their directions not the GPS as the GPS will put you into a tight hairpin turn. Stop if you get a chance.
I stayed with Terry and Sharon again in 2015 for 3 nights and we and another couple had a very nice time together.
I highly recommend Tagalong's site for a stay by all. Cedarbrook
We enjoyed our recent stay with Tagalong. This is the 3rd time we have stayed with Terry and Sharon and they made us feel most welcome and were excellent hosts making sure we were comfortable. Also fun was meeting again with another boondocker who was also there last year - a great reunion and lots of laughs and stories to share.
Sharon and Terry welcomed us warmly and you could not find a finer host. We spent 2 nights there, and I (Edith) enjoyed watching and taking pictures of birds coming to the feeder in front of the hosts' house.
We will definitely go boondocking there again in the future.
Sharon and Terry, thank you so much for your great hospitality
I stayed with Tagalong and her hubby for 3 more nights as we attended the Snowbirds show together along with another couple fron Ontario. These folks are great hosts. Hope to see them again. Cedarbrook
Sharon and Terry are a warm friendly couple who go out of their way to please. We originally planned on staying one night but stayed for three. We explored the area and had lots of fun every evening. Thanks again for welcoming us into your "campground" we really appreciated your hospitality. We hope to be able to visit our new friends again.
Stayed 3 nights with this wonderful couple who were great hosts. we spent several hours together with great conversation.
We were anticipating being Tagalongs first boondockers, but upon arrival learned another Ontario boondocker arrrived the previous day. The facilities were as advertised, our hosts very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed spending time chatting with our hosts and other boondocker guest. I guess we passed the "test" as they are allowing us to return on our way north later in the month.
