We are a widow and widower who are both retired. I was a 5th-6th grade teacher and my husband was the local dentist. Between us we have six children and 12 grandchildren. We have a 21' RV Phoenix Cruiser that we have traveled in as far south as Fort Myers, Fl. and north to Fairbanks, AK.
Yes, we like older rescues. Currently we love Balto, a Husky mix.
Sunbury is a small town that was a village when we both moved here many years ago. We have an old-fashioned English village square with an OLD brick building in the center and small shops around the square. Now Sunbury has several subdivisions on the outskirts of town. If you want to SHOP we have an outlet mall right off the 71-36/37 exit, four miles away.
Our RV is a 21 ft. Phoenix Cruiser, 2002. There are no slide-outs.
Din was such a warm and inviting lady! Next time passing thru area will consider staying here again! Wish I could had more time to visit with her as she was such an incredible lady, that was so encouraging, and compassionate!
This was a perfect place to stay as we travel south. Din was a great host assuring that we had just the right place to park so that we would be comfortable for the night. It was great to be able to plug in and not have to run our generator as our small fans and open windows allowed us to get a good night's sleep. Would recommend this location. Thanks Din, we are very grateful to you!
My apology for leaving, but I was having issues backing in (me, not your spot) and I was afraid I was going to put ruts in the neighbor’s yard. My truck is too long and won’t turn this long camper short enough.
Thank you for hoisting.
Din was so accommodating to us while we stayed at her home. She showed us her Class B that she has taken all over the place. We are so grateful for good people like her, that we meet through Boondockers Welcome.
Very welcoming host and was extremelymely helpful. We were in the area visiting our daughters family and was unable to park our RV at their house. Din graciously accepted our request to boondock interior driveway. Our RV and toad are 60 feet long and we were able to park in their drive. You just need to take your time getting in and out. Our highest recommendation for this location.
Din was a wonderful host. Both she and her granddaughter were very friendly and pleasant. In addition to providing us with a parking space, Din provided us with power (15 amp) and WiFi. We chose to use our coach’s air leveling system as opposed to the hydraulic jack to ensure we didn’t damage the driveway. Our RV is 45’ long, and as such it was hard for us to level it given the slightly sloping driveway. Din lives in a residential neighborhood and the use of the generator would be too noisy. Fortunately we were only running our desiel burner and the 15 amp power was sufficient.
Many thanks to Din!
Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful and generous regarding our needs. We have had a nice and interesting chat with Din. Wish we have had more time with them in this area. We warmly recommend this host.
Our stay with Din was nothing but peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. Din is generous, flexible, accommodating, and appreciative of everything we were able to help out with to say the least. When we come through the area again, we will absolutely request to stay with Din again!
Thank you so much, Din!
We enjoyed our time and conversation with our hosts. Din was very hospitable and we talked a lot about many different topics. Really enjoyed our time there and sorry for the delayed recommendation (we took a small break into our hometown, and now back on the road). Thanks again Din.
Great setting with wonderful hosts. Hopefully they will come visit us on their travels.
Lovely quiet area, very long spacious driveway that's not far from the highway and easy to back a 64' truck-trailer combo into.
Din is a lovely, kind, patient hostess. Thank you Din!
We arrived very late (Sorry Din!) and Din was still happy to see us and share tips about things to see along our proposed route.
It's really cxonvenient that at Din's exit, there is a Pilot and a Flying J for food/fuel.
Thanks again Din! You're the best!
