Nancy and I met at Loyalist College Belleville Ontario. We married, graduated and after our two daughters completed their first university degree we started full time living in our RV. That was in 2000 and we were forty seven. It's worked out great. Our tongue in check moto..." It's hard on the forest" We know and love the boondock lifestyle. In 1995 we purchased our retirement Condo in Belleville Nancy's hometown. Rented it for twenty four years but moved in October 2019. It turned to be a great place to ride out the Covid storm. We are both first shot happy and look forward our second shot when it opens up July 19. Wishing you and yours the very best.... Nancy and I love forward to meeting you all.
I am graduate Electrical Engineering Technologist. General science trades and technology is my thing and I am a jack of all trades. My last term of employment as Regional Fillet Electrical Officer on the Canadian Coast. Guard in St. Johns, Newfoundland. Nancy is a graduate legal secretary. Her last eleven years working were at libraries of Memorial University. She lives to read, craft and try new recipe's We know the boondocking ropes being on the road full timing for nineteen years. We know rigs inside out and try to help out fellow campers
All our pets have lived long happy lives. No pets presently. Our RV travel companions were Chester the dog ( a bearded Collie ) for many years. Then for fifteen years we were adopted by an American Bobtail kitten one off many cats that hang out at Lake Blackshirts boondocking spot in Warwick Georgia. His name of course "Georgia Boy". He was a great traveller. Our vet called him our southern boy. These two pets are missed......
That's a hard question. Our travel log has hundreds of locations and after multiple visits each has a special feel and memory. Many times we have shared our favourites with like minded boondocks. It's is like sharing you favourite fishing spot or chanterelle mushroom spot. As we get older we like to see those starting their adventure with some helpful insights.
I was born in Ottawa Ontario and Nancy was born in Belleville Ontario. We are so happy as we race toward our seventies to have transitioned into our planned retirement Condo in 2019 purchased so many years ago.
Our rig is a Canadian made Regency A Class by Triple E. It's a great looking rig totally outfitted for boondocking. Our tow vehicle is a Saturn sedan a favorite tow vehicle as in stock condition they could be towed four wheels down even with there automatic transmission. We normally have a canoe on the top of the car. Bikes on a bike rack.
Was sorry to see them leave, had great visits with this gracious couple.
Welcome back anytime.
What a wonderful couple! I think we knew almost immediately that we would be forever friends!
Friendly, quiet and left our site cleaner than when they arrived! What more could a host ask for? Good conversation, respect of all the rules and a unique and thoughtful gift for hosting? Yup, that too!
We can’t wait until our paths meet again!
Highly recommend this couple (geez it’s hard not to say names) to anyone who is a host!!
