I enjoy a good visit, getting to know folks. I am joining Boondockers Welcome to get me out of the Walmart's and rest areas. I am seeing laws being passed to limit our RV boon docking locations. As a father of two, joining Boondockers Welcome, I am trying to improve our cross country journeys.
My personal life; I strive to live a low carb healthy fat life style and it suits well to travel via travel trailer and now motorhome as we carry our own food making it much easier to maintain.
Additionally, I have been an industrial hydraulic equipment salesman for a lifetime with an excellent mechanical ability.
Crisanta and I have been married nearly 20 years.
I am a hydraulic specialist by trade. I enjoy building and working with my hands. I have an abundance of patients and have become skilled at listening. Not necessary a profound cook, but very good at preparing quick meals.
We have one dog named Marshmallow that travels with us. He is a Pomeranian/Shih Tzu. In 2015, when adapted, he was expected to be about 10-12 pounds, but in reality Marshie is 25 pounds. My nickname for Marshie is Fat Brother. He is the closest thing to a Velcro dog I have ever had.
My favorite place has been at my fathers lake cabin on Lake Mary, near Alexandrea, MN. Now it is on a lot, once again owned by my father on the lake in Cottonwood MN. While in Cottonwood, I even enjoy the train looking through at 2 AM.
Another place I like is Mountain Ridge ATV Park near Central City, PA. This is a place where you boon dock on top of a mountain under power generation wind mills. This location is about 5 or so miles form the Flight 93 Memorial. And you don't have to have an ATV to camp in the grass. But, you are required to pay $20 a night.
Years ago, we used to boon dock at the Charlotte Motor Speed way for the All start race each spring.
Broadway, located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia just a dozen miles north of Harrisonburg the location of James Madison University (JMU), and Eastern Mennonite University (EMU). A beautiful location with wonderful people. We are outside of the city, so we regularly see deer and other critter passing from the woods, crossing the field to the pond and onto a neighbors.
