I (Brian) am a retired engineer, and Audrey is speech pathologist; and expects to retire in a couple years. Our dog, Nash, is a 2 year old Australian labra-doddle.
We live in small older development in upstate NY in Glenville which is between the state capital of Albany and the horse racing town of Saratoga Springs.
We started RVing in the Summer of 2018 and in 2019 did a 10 week journey from NY to Alaska and back. Covid pretty much shut us down for last year. Speaking of covid. Both Audrey and I are fully vaccinated; but we still were masks when we gather around people that we don't know, such as going to the grocery store. We have people in our lives who are vulnerable and we want to minimize the risk of bringing covid to them.
No great skills, but just a couples lifetime of experiences.
One medium size dog. Qualified as a canine good citizen. Service dog qualification in progress. Currently in therapy dog training.
So far our favorite has been Teddy Roosevelt National Park, North Unit. But, we haven't boondocked very much.
Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel, towed by a Ford F250 pickup truck. The total length of the RV and truck (hooked up) is about 50 feet.
We were privileged to host very nice couple. It was a pleasure talking and getting to know them.
Enjoyed hosting aloha_brian. Had a great visit but the time was too short. They and their sweet dog Nash are welcome back again.
aloha_brian is a very pleasant couple. Good communication and very easy to host. Unfortunately, it was a little rainy and they were only here for one night, so there was little chance to get to know them or their very cute and well behaved dog. We would love to see them come back again sometime.
