I have lived in the Mt Washington Valley for over 40 years. My husband is a native. We enjoy kayaking, swimming, hiking/walking and skiing in winter. Volunteer at Tin Mountain Conservation Center 3/4 mile down the road where there are lots of great nature trails.
Great outdoor recreation areas.
One dog, a yellow lab named Enya and one indoor cat. Enya has gone everywhere with me since she was eight weeks old. She was my assistant at work and the only other female on the job site.
I grew up on a farm in central New York State. My husband was born at the local hospital and, except for college, has lived here his entire life.
We invited RoadsandBridges to "boondock" at hour site as an introduction to boondocking and a chance to try out their new rig. Of course we were hopeful they would ultimately join the Boondocking family. They were quick learners and very sociable. Their well behaved dog immediately settled in and enjoyed running around with our pup who is always welcoming boondocker pets. We are pleased that they have become Boondocker Hosts.
They are welcome back anytime and their location looks awesome.
Our hosts are the nicest people. They gave us a tour of the farm which has a spectacular view of the area around N.Conway.They shared some local history and info of the farm and the area. Our dog,and theirs got along nicely as well.
We're already planning a return visit.
We arrived later than expected and were warmly greeted and shown where to park. It’s a large field across the street with nice views. Super quiet and peaceful. We’ll be back!
This is a hidden gem in the White Mountains. We enjoyed visiting with our hosts and learned about several nearby places to visit.
Great place to spend a few nights and explore the Conway area. Superb access to the Swift River for swimming. Easy in and out. Had a great time. Thank you.
Roads and bridges is one heck of a spot! A perfect place for a sunset view and peaceful sleep. We really enjoyed the conversation as well. Thankful for the hospitality and generosity
The stay at the Old Moulton Farm was truly memorable. Hosts and location A+. Convenient to everything you may need. Looking forward to a return.
We are grateful to Roads and Bridges- T and T, for their warmth and welcoming hospitality. The boondock site was peaceful, beautiful and level and we slept like babies there. Anya is a very sweet ol’ golden, maybe a little too sweet for our rambunctious Tillie. As good a place to crash as any!
We truly enjoyed our stay at roads and bridges. The location was stunningly beautiful with sweeping views of the mountains and forest! We had plenty of room for our converted van with plenty of space to spare! Very peaceful and relaxing and a quiet night! Woke up rested and energized!
Our hosts were incredibly gracious and kind and enjoyable to visit with. We would have loved to stay a bit longer and will certainly look them up when we are back in the area!
Boondockers Welcome has been such a delightful resource as we get to meet wonderful people such as our hosts at Roads and Bridges!!
