I am a retired electrical engineer who loves woodworking and music. I play tenor sax in a local community band and have a decent workshop. I have designed Polaroid Instant Cameras and high end ultrasound transducers. I enjoy hiking when I am able. My wife Nadine has worked as a journalist for several Boston area newspapers and websites and has been a dog trainer for Petco. She now trains and exercises dogs for a small local business. Nadine loves to garden.
Neither of us has ever smoked and we used to do some tent camping. So we travel quietly and try to leave things better than we found them.
Good at woodworking. Decent mechanical skills. Pretty good software skills as well. I am qualified to work as a Motorman, Conductor, and Dispatcher at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME and for the Midwest Electric Railway as the Midwest Old Settlers and Threshers Association in Mt. Pleasant, IA. I am in charge of the signal system at Midwest as well.
We have a house cat, Shelly, but she does not travel with us.
We bought our trailer before the pandemic and have not been out much. So we don't have a favorite location yet.
I grew up along the Hudson River in Westchester County, NY. The town is Ossining, NY and is the home of Sing Sing Prison, Nadine grew up in Yonkers NY and Moved to Ossining in her junior year of high school. We went to the junior prom together so we are happy to be stuck with each other! We have both lived in Reading, MA for the past 40 years and our son is a graduate of the Reading Schools. Reading is about 15 miles north of Boston, just outside Rte128/I95,
The tow vehicle is an F250 crew cab short bed and the trailer is a 28 foot Coachman Liberty Express Ultra Light, a 2019 246RKS. There is one slide on the drivers side and it protrudes about 18", It is a long slide but not very deep,
These folks were an absolute pleasure to meet. We had great conversation about each other's life experiences and our recent travel destinations. We feel right at home with them and would love to see them again.
Great people and enjoyed chatting while they were visiting. Very respectful and an awesome dog trainer!
