My name is Ambrose, I'm Australian, and have been road tripping through the USA for two months!
I started in Chicago, went across to New York, down the east coast and then across the southern states (through Nashville/New Orleans etc.) and am now on to California.
I've been travelling a fair bit and love meeting new people and sharing experiences. This trip has been very exciting because although my mum is from New Orleans and I've visited the south a fair bit, I had barely seen the rest of the country. I like cooking good food, hiking, camping, and getting outdoors just as much as I like exploring new cities. I brew craft beer at home, play tenor saxophone in a couple of bands and work as an events manager at my uni, where I'm studying engineering.
I'm new to the boondockers site and am looking forward to meeting the people here! Previous to this I was travelling with four mates and we did a combination of AirBnb in cities and camping while on the road. For the last three weeks of my trip I've hired a minivan camper and will be hiking and exploring with a partner. We're hoping to boondock and camp in state parks between LA, San Fran and Vegas.
I'm pretty outgoing and happy to answer any questions you have, just send me a message.

My hometown is Noosa, Queensland, Australia- though I currently live in Brisbane.
Minivan Dodge Caravan, pretty compact unit! Has a kitchenette, foldout beds inside and the essentials. Hired through the Jucy Van company and it has some green/purple logos. It's pretty nice.
