My husband and I quit our jobs early (in our mid 50's) so we could explore by land and sea. We have a sailboat that we've taken through the Caribbean chain of islands down to Grenada, we've explored the Bahamas numerous times, and travelled the East Coast Intercoastal from Florida to Baltimore. We're new to RVing. Only owned our unit for about a month. So far have travelled from Virginia to Florida and back again but will head north from Virginia soon to explore the north-eastern states. We prefer to boondock, as opposed to campground stays ... and we love the wilderness, hiking, kayaking, campfires, and relaxing to a nice glass of wine.
We have two adorable Cavapoo puppies (Ginger and Peanut). They travel with us at all times whether by RV or Sailboat. They love the outdoors and exploring new places.
We own a condo in Boca Raton, FL but it's rented out (for about 6 years now). We have a sailboat that we love to explore in (when we're not rving). We have two boat slips, one in Boca Raton, FL and one in Baltimore, MD. You'll find our boat at one of those locations while we're out doing some land-based exploration. We also own two lots at Indian Acres Club of Thornburg in Spotsylvania, Virginia. This is a private campground where you buy the lots and pay annual association dues (similar to a condo ... only it's land in the woods). This is home for our RV if we aren't exploring in it. So ... where is "home" ... Home is where the heart is
