Relatively new to the RV traveling scene. I'm 69,retired and have an 8 year old Shih Tzu named Lizzie who goes with me. So far my travels have taken me to Florida, last January (2015)and to the mountains of Asheville, NC this past June and July. I also often camp at my own river location which is 25 miles from where I live in Hampstead, NC.
I have a pretty good working knowledge about the basics of solar power. Sometimes considered to be a fair problem solver in regards to mechanized or other broken/malfunctioning things. Can also often muddle my way through computer issues.
2007 Chevy chassis Four Winds, 30 foot class c with no slides.Stock configuration with the addition of solar panels on roof.
We hosted Mike and his pup, Lizzie, for one night during his recent trip through the area and enjoyed their visit very much. They were so pleasant, quiet and respectful of our home, we hardly knew they were there. Mike has a great deal of knowledge in solar panels and happily shared this as well as answered some "toad" questions. We would gladly have them back as guests any time. Safe travels, Mike.
We stayed with Mike for a night on our way to OBX from Florida and enjoyed every moment! When we weren't sleeping or setting up/getting ready to move on, we had a great time talking with Mike about many things including several RV topics. We have a 27' class A motorhome with toad and we were able to pull into the spot from the road easily. If Mike is still in the area the next time we pass through or are close, we look forward to the chance to visit with him and Lizzie again!
