We have traveled extensively in our alternate 'RV' (a Cessna 182) around most of USA and Canada (only Alaska has been unvisited). Looking forward to more on the ground visitation with the new TT RV, but probably not as far as we have been in the alternate RV.
Workshop on site.
Burks Falls (at a friend)
Heartland Prowler 20P-RBS Travel Trailer.
Windviewer were warm and friendly guests whom we now consider friends.
Hopefully they will stay with us again when they find themselves in our area.
Keith n Heather were an absolute pleasure to have. We had some pretty interesting conversations as they knew my father in law as a pilot also. When you say a small world that was a perfect example. We would gladly welcome them back anytime. Take care until next time.
Windviewer are welcome any time. Very nice guests. They didn't need any services as they were 100% self sufficient. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit and campfire with them.
WOW! What a wonderful introduction to the world of boondocking. An absolutely beautiful location and such gracious and considerate hosts. The site is like a European estate, landscaped grounds, with scattered flower beds, copses of evergreens and a pond with gazebo. We cannot thank them enough for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful property and their warm hospitality.
K&H offer a lovely quiet spot with stunning views of farmland their property.
A welcoming and friendly couple...great to visit around their firepit.
Thanks - both of you.
Private area to park behind the barn
Wide mowed walking path
Two ponds with park benches and a gazebo
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating
They invited us to share conversation around their campfire
They had interesting stories about all their travels
I would definitely recommend this making this a stop along your way
I will return one day
Keith and Heather were lovely hosts. This was our first Boondocking experience with our new trailer and our first experience with Boondocker’s welcome. These hosts have set the bar high for us now! Their farm is Beautifully maintained with a little walking trail along their property dotted by a couple ponds with turtles and fish. We sat out on a peaceful relaxing quiet weekend and that’s exactly what we got. Keith and Heather graciously offered to have us join them at their fire. They were comfortable with us enjoying the grounds. Thank you so much Keith and Heather. We look forward to returning.
Second time visiting...lovely property and gracious hosts...thanks
Windviewer was flexible to accept our stay request on quite short notice when our plans changed.
We were offered several locations and chose the quiet “behind the barn” field for a level peaceful overnight.
Good chat in the morning.
Excellent boondocking site.
Windviewer was available on short notice when our plans changed, and when we arrived offered us the choice of several different parking locations.
“Behind the barn”, our choice, was quiet and made for a great night’s sleep. Interesting chat in the morning, with a fellow tree lover.
We recommend Windviewer as an excellent boondocker host.
This was our first BDW experience and it was really enjoyable. Perfect site, very quiet and we were invited to chat around the host’s fire in the evening after exploring the walking trails on the beautiful property. Great hospitality...
Had a wonderful stay close to St. Jacob on this lovely farm! Kind and friendly hosts
Hope to see them next year in our Restaurant do we can return the favour with some free desserts 🍨
Prompt, friendly communication, and a perfect parking spot on the sunny side of the workshop, made our second winter visit to Windviewer's place a pleasure! Only about 20 minutes' scenic drive to downtown Kitchener, we visted the Christkindl Market and the St Jacob's Farmers Market. Thanks again!
Keith and Heather met us on a stormy winter day, making sure we were settled and had everything we needed. Beautiful hobby farm property with panoramic views. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, and the opportunity to go for a hike.
