I’m a veterinarian (retired) and that helps explain why I started RVing: I wanted to travel and take my pets with me. I started with a Class C, then another one, then a fifth wheel, and another, and another, and now am back in a Class C, although some may consider it a Class B+. I fulltimed in a 40’ fifth wheel and a one ton truck for almost 4 years, and loved it, until one day I found myself driving on a busy big city interstate and decided I had had enough. Sold the rig and truck, bought a house in Arkansas, and thought I was settling down, but within a few months, realized I still wanted an RV, bought my current ride, and here we are. I just recently found Boondockers Welcome and am almost in awe at how this community works. It’s made me excited about RVing again.

Yes, 4 small, older, quiet dogs. Sometimes it feels like I run a senior dog retirement home! All of my dogs have traveled a lot and as long as they still enjoy it, they will be my travel companions. I also have a parrot that is 36 years old and he has lived with me since he was only 6 months old. He also traveled with us when we full-timed in the fifth wheel, but he seems content to stay home these days (and the dogs and I are happy about that 🙂).
None yet....just getting started.
Grew up in northern Wyoming, have lived in many different places in my life. I live now in Arkansas (The Natural State). Despite what you may think 😊, it’s a beautiful place with friendly people.

This was PetDoc's second visit and it was like having family come to visit. PetDoc is another guest that has become family. We can't wait to have her come back again. She is welcome any time and you will feel the same if you have the pleasure to get to Host her and her fury companions. Until next time safe travels and may God Bless.
Was only here overnight. She was pleasant and interesting to talk to, can't wait for her return visit.
I would have loved to spend more time with her as she has so many skills and interests! Really enjoyed our visit! Hope she comes back and stays longer!
