WE gave up the brick and mortar home in December and have been traveling the country in our 7'x16' converted cargo trailer! loving this nomadic lifestyle and seeing the amazing , beautiful sites as well as meeting some of the most incredible people!
Originally Manchester NH
Our tow vehicle is a GMC Sierra. Our rig is a 7'X16' Converted Cargo trailer that is fully self contained and , self sufficient. Complete with water and electric hookup, Solar, grey and fresh water tanks.
Quick visit but pleasant nonetheless.
Great guests, welcome back anytime.
As agriculturalists (<2% of the population) we are in some sense self isolating as most are unaware of the considerable responsibilities we bear towards our livestock. Offering boondockers a landing zone is among the best decisions we have made, allowing us the pleasure to meet new and interesting folks and have varied and frequently very pleasurable conversations. The “Drowning Ducks” fulfilled every aspect as they respected our property, the few limitations and were a joy to meet! We hope they stop on their return trip.
Very much enjoyed visiting with the Drowning Ducks. They were stuck for a bit because their transmission needed to be replaced on the truck. They were so pleasant to be around I would be ok if they camped here all summer !
hope they travel this way again some day.
Really nice couple, enjoyed their company and stories. Hope they come visit again!
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting DrowningDucks.. Their stay was two nights and it went by too quickly.. We loved talking to them and hearing of their travels, interests and talents. We are thrilled that they were able to take in the local sights and attractions. We thank them for a tour of their 'home' and am in awe with them being full timers. WOW! Thank you also for the sweet flower. It has a pace in our kitchen as I write. We wish them safe travels, fond memories and star filled nights on their journeys. We would be thrilled to host them again and catch up with our new friends. .
The it must be a duck or at least ducky! We very much enjoyed the short time together. He had so many great experiences to share. The folks managed to make themselves at home with their unique, and very nice (heck, it is smaller than our commercially made camper but just as comfortable) "camper". I think that they actually need to return for a few missed photoes - and we would look forward to their return. What better thing can you say about a guest?
We enjoyed our lengthy talk while these two were here for their stay. wish them well in their travels and hope to see them again someday.
Very self-sufficient with a low-impact rig, outgoing and friendly yet quiet, respectful, and considerate. We're blessed to know them thru BW. We shared lots of stories and life experiences. "Da Ducks" are welcome back ANYTIME! Great folks!
Happy to host DrowningDucks anytime. Good stories about life’s adventures. Thank you
Throughly enjoyed their visit. Loved visiting and conversing we them. Welcome back anytime.
Very quiet with the ability to communicate well. Hope they return some day.
We enjoyed the DrowningDucks visit. They have interesting stories and lead an interesting life on the road. They graciously showed us their home-made trailer. It’s amazing how one can get all the necessities in 112 sq ft! They were quiet and respectful guests - welcome back any time!
Nice couple very kind and attentive barely knew they were there. Visit again!
