We had planned to backpack around the world but covid shut down the borders so we decided to explore the US instead. Its now 8 months later and we’re still going! Our family includes one fat old cat and our little scaredy-dog, Cucumber. My husband works full time from the trailer and I steer the ship. Back home, I was a hairstylist so I’m happy to cut hair if you’re due! We’ve loved everyone we’ve met along the way and look forward to new friends and new adventures.
Hair styling! I was a master cutting instructor in Los Angeles.
Yep- fat old cat and sweet 35 lb rescue dog. She’s scared of her own shadow and just follows us around. She doesn’t bark either which is nice, wish the cat would do the same!
BLM lands are my favorite. Outside of Joshua tree, south of the park off of the 10 is the best free Boondocking, I don’t know why you would ever pay to enter the park if you can be this close. There’s also a huge community there so you’re never alone.
Also in Arizona, heading north towards Scottsdale has some great east Boondocking for bigger rigs right off the highway but still in the forests.
We don’t plan on going back, in fact we originally planned this trip to find our new home elsewhere. But as much as I hate to say it, we’re from Los Angeles, CA.
We are a 27’ travel trailer (bumper to bumper) towed by a Dodge Ram 1500.
