We have been RVing for five years now. In our "previous life" we raised beef cattle for a hobby...until we bought our fifth wheel. We got the fever, and staying home to take care of farm animals just wasn't as satisfying anymore. Along with our English Pointer, we love traveling from one end of the country to the other. We are in our young sixties and love meeting people along the way. We love the idea of boondocking (although we haven't really done much of it)
We love to travel everywhere. WE took an extended to trip to Alaska in 2013. WE have done several pacific NW trips and we yearly go to North Carolina to visit our kids, so always try new areas in the beautiful state.
We live 5 miles south of the little village of Nashville. We live on a hobby farm, except now that we are into traveling with our RV, we no longer have any farm animals. Our property is very quiet except for the owls and frogs. We live on 25 acres and there is plenty of room for an RV up to 30ft.
We have a 30' Jayco Eagle fifth wheel (2002)one slide and we pull it with an 2006 Chevy Silverado. Both are in excellent condition. Even though the camper is old, it still looks really good. We love the floor plan compared to the new ones, so hope it makes it through many more seasons.
