Love animals and the outdoors. Avid tandem bike riders, like traveling to new places to bike and meeting new people.
Husband is an engineer and a handyman who can figure out how to fix almost anything. Wife is good at finding tools and assisting when needed, and is a fair hand at internet searches.
One very friendly Labrador named Sophie. She doesn’t always travel with us when we’re biking.

RVroadie was a great guest! We had a lot of the same intrest and had a great time trading bike stories. We would love to stay with them when we travel in their area!
Always welcome back. Loved their ride...both of them 🤣. I wonder if they keep a list of must do bike rides?
I really enjoyed meeting the RVRoadie's and having a fireside chat. They are very respectable about the outdoors and I think their pup had a good time too! The gate is always open for these folks! Come back anytime.
RVRoadie were a great couple to host. They were understanding that our WiFi had an issue and gave us good recommendations for future road trips. Fun and kind people.
RVRoadies were great guests. Good communication throughout pre-stay and stay. Enjoyed hearing about some of their adventures over dessert.
It was a delight to host RVRoadie. They communicated their arrival very well and arrived on time. We greeted and assisted with hook ups and had a short visit. They truly love biking and left for The Silver Comet Trail which can be accessed a mile from our location. We got to have another visiting time the next day after they completed another section of the trail and enjoyed sharing RV experiences. Hope to meet again.
Y'all are welcome back anytime. What a beautiful Mercedes sprinter van. I would highly recommend them to any other Host.
They are welcome back anytime, they liked our dogs!! Good conversations with interesting stories. Don’t hesitate to say yes to hosting these folks.
RVRoadie are a fun outdoor enthusiast couple and we enjoyed listening to their stories of their bike riding adventures! They are welcomed back anytime!
RVRoadie were very welcoming and hospitable. I had to cancel my stay due to an emergency vet appointment. Things turned out better than I expected and I was able to re-request my stay. Not only were they sympathetic and accommodating to my stressful day, they were also concerned for Humphrey’s wellbeing. Thank you for a pleasant stay and an enjoyable evening.
Located in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, C & R with their wonderful dog Sophie welcomed us in to their property and guided us to a level spot in the gravel drive near a 15 amp outlet. Our dog, also Sofi, hit it off with Sophie and they played together until bedtime! We chatted together on the back porch with C & S into the evening until it got too chilly to stay out. An excellent stop on our way north, would love to visit with them again if we come back this way, thanks,
I stayed for one night at the Roadtrip Respite but I could’ve stayed for weeks if I had the time and would’ve been allowed! Gorgeous, quiet piece of land in the hills of PA. Wooded trails navigate through the property that make for a great hike with dogs. I had some great conversations with the hosts as we shared a beer in the evening. They were warm and welcoming and their dog, Sophie, couldn’t have been any sweeter. Definitely recommend stopping here on your travels!
Pay attention to the directions and you are good. Hosts were more than welcoming and accommodating. 11/10 stay
We followed the hosts directions from I-80 West and had no trouble locating their property. We did use our 4WD to tow our 34' travel trailer up their lower driveway with no problems. We were greeted by our hosts and given options for parking and agreed upon a time after dinner to get together to chat. We didn't need power so we parked on the freshly mowed grass in an upper section of their property with minor leveling. We were staying one night so we didn't disconnect our truck. We enjoyed our conversation, dessert, and looking for lightening bugs. We had a great nights' sleep and were treated to seeing six deer not too far from our trailer the next morning. We would return to this site again. Thank you RV Roadie & Sofie for hosting us.
Such a lovely, peaceful place with, quite possibly, the nicest hosts we have ever met! We had a problem hooking up to the electric and they helped us until everything was hooked up and running. They couldn’t have been more kind, gracious or helpful!!! We hope they didn’t get too overwhelmed with our stories!
I reached out to these hosts very late in the day, after driving since 8am. Although they had just arrived back home from their own RV excursion, they were kind enough to agree to let me stay. Unfortunately, my GPS took me on very interesting and circuitous route for 8 or 10 miles. It was near dark by the time I arrived. My hosts met me at the road, and helped with setup. These folks are the nicest, most gracious hosts I've met to date, and if you are a nature lover, you'll be in heaven. If you're arriving on I-80 from the West, don't use a Garmin. Follow the hosts direction in the profile. I can't wait to visit again.
What a wonderfully quiet spot with amazing hosts. Thank you for hosting
This wilderness wonderland is hosted by two of the most kind and generous hosts. We all got along famously, we enjoyed the woodsy walking trails, and overall we feel this is a little slice of heaven on earth. Incredibly detailed arrival instructions helped and parking in their field gave nice privacy. These hosts, their adorably sweet dog and this location are the BEST of the best - consider yourselves lucky to land here :)
Thank you so much for a welcome and comfortable visit. Awesome hosts and location.
I had a great night last night and got some well needed rest at RV roadie. They are property is beautiful and peaceful and they are great hosts and very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them or visit them again on my way back. Thank you for having me Mike
