I'm a retired Shop Teacher and my wife,of 53yrs,Heather,is a retired Executive Secretary. We began camping roughly 47 yrs. ago with, at that time, 2 children in a tent and over the years progressed to an A Class motorhome. We've travelled extensively in Canada and the U.S. Sold our motorhome about 9 yrs. ago and have a unit in Sarasota/Bradenton where we keep our sailboat. We are looking forward to embarking on a different kind of travel with our 13' vintage travel trailer that we have renovated/restored inside/out. For now we are registering as a 'Guest' but down the road possibly a 'Host'.
I believe I can safely say, we've both been a 'Jack of all trades' neither of us afraid to tackle what's before us...be it my wife starting her own pastry business upon retirement to both of starting an antique business in a former storage building belonging to the Grand Trunk Railway.
At present we haven't been to any Boondocking locations as we have just become members. We sold our Motorhome 9yrs ago and have just gotten back into camping.
In the 53yrs. we've been married we built our first home from the ground up (actually from digging a well up) to the roof trusses...since then we've remodelled 3 houses including our present home on the beautiful St.Clair River in Mooretown, On.
As mentioned previously, we are the proud owners of a vintage 1974 Okanagan travel trailer. We have redone the interior in a bit of an African theme.
