We are a vegan family from France. We have 2 daughters (the elder is 4 years and a half old and the little one is 2 years old). We're doing a road trip through the entire american continent (north, central and south). We leaved France in the middle of June 2015 and arrived at Halifax (Canada). We hope to be in Patagonia (Argentina) in February 2017.
We hope to be able to meet people and to dump and get water for free (we can't go to campground for a whole year :))
On a wild coast, next to the sea, near a river or surrounded by forest but we are happy to sleep everywhere as long as it's a quiet place.
We are a french family from south of France, Toulouse, a beautiful red-colored city.
We have an european motorhome (a small one compared to american ones - Height 9'10'' (3m) - Width about 7'(2.26m) - Lenght 24' (7.30m)) which is really colorful. Its name is Phileas and it is 10 years old.
They only stayed one night and part of next day. All there water froze up it was so cold. They had sent me a cluch part for there French made motor home I was happy I could help them. Would have them back anytime. Hope they make it to the end of there trip. Thanks guys. JacksnutsPlus1
This fascinating young family were such wonderful guests, very interesting, caring, intelligent, creative, and eager travelers!
They were such quiet, peaceful guests, that I only knew they were parked in my driveway when I looked outside, so we set up some lawn chairs to create a place for some longer visits together under the large shade trees, some great conversation, and photo time.
I learned some very interesting facts from them, enjoyed sharing our past travel experiences, discussing our lifestyles, and when they needed to move on, I pleaded with them to stay longer because I enjoyed their company very much. They were perfect boon-dockers, friendly, respectful, efficient, resourceful, prepared, and were flexible in their planning.
They are now heading out to travel the country, so if you are lucky enough to hear from them, you will be happy you had an opportunity to meet them! It was my pleasure to share some of their journey!
I told them they will always be welcome to come and stay here as often as possible!! Such great people!
A pleasure to have this young family. Made us feel young again! Wonderful seeing little Maude becoming bilingual! Happy travels!
We had our first Boodockers!
A Beautiful, kind and honest family. We felt so comfortable with having them join our home.
We'll keep in touch with our new friends as they share their amazing journey.
This young family is amazing! Their journey makes me envious! Great people to talk to and they have some great stories. I would love to host them again. Quiet, respectful and humble. Their daughters couldn't be any cuter. Wishing you all the best on your fantastic journey!
